NATURAL RESERVE OF YANACOCHA
In the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the heights of Huayoqari, is situated the Natural Reserve of Yanacocha. It is an intact paradise in the Andes, where you will breathe clean air and experience its marvelous diversity of native flora and fauna. The lagoon called Yanacocha (Black Lagoon) is surrounded by old trees and it seems to want to tell us about the past. So, it invites you to enter a timeless world full of mysticism and tranquility…
Through meditative contemplation and concentration, we will be immersed in the pure beauty of nature in such a way that we will assimilate its landscape´s ambiance.
After this process of internalization, we´ll draw sketches that will help us to refresh our inspiration during the workshops on the following day, when we will paint what we´ve perceived in watercolour or natural pigments.

The workshops are combined with Hamutay Andean meditation. The first day includes Sauna, which is recommended for mental relaxation and purification of the body. The sauna services are exclusively for attendees of this program and are idyllically located where hygiene is guaranteed. If this option doesn’t appeal to you, you may choose a session of Andean yoga or simply enjoy special snacks and beverages. Also enjoy our evenings of pre-Incan arts, along with a series of documentary films, in a cozy and familiar environment, with our exquisite “ponche” (hot Andean beverage) and sweets.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Clothing adequate for both warm and cold temperatures (Layers of clothing would seem most functional).
