APULAYA - CENTER FOR ANDEAN MUSIC & ART

Apulaya Cultural CenterLa Apulaya - Center for Andean Culture was founded by a Peruvian-Swiss couple formed by the musician Valerio Fernandez and the artist Emerita Bucher. It is located in an area surrounded by nature and tranquillity. Qhochoq Creek is adjacent to the compound which sits at the foot of the legendary mountain called Pitusiray. It is a place of relaxation and inspiration. Surrounding the area, there is a variety of fruit trees, corn fields, vegetables and various medicinal and aromatic herbs.

La Apulaya - Center for Andean Culture is an ongoing experience of gathering information, collection of audio material, DVDs, books, instruments and music pertaining to each area of interest. So, in addition to the workshops offered by Apulaya - Center for Andean Culture, we also are an information and research center
