DEATH AS PROPITIATOR OF FERTILITY
MUSIC
PAINTING
ART
What does death have to do with fertility? Without life, there is no death – Without death, is there no life?
Music and art are integral parts of the Andean people´s conception and vision of the universe of the dead and of the relationship they have with fertility which we can already see in the representations of the pre-Columbian cultures, as well as in the traditions of present communities.
Our workshops will consist in the interpretation of musical pieces, as well as in the painting of themes which proceed from that cosmovision.
