Valerio Fernández, Musician
A trained musician, he was born in the Andean province of Chumvibilcas, Cusco.
His parents are farmers who raised him in the traditions of the highland folklore. His vocation since childhood has always been playing music with native instruments such as the quena and zampoña.
later he studied music at the institute Leandro Alviña Miranda – Cusco, a classical music institute, then he studied jazz at the "Musik Hochschule" - Luzern, Switzerland.At the present time, Valerio works as a music instructor and performs in musical groups in Cusco and the Sacred Valley .
Hanny Fernández, Anthropologist
She was born into an Andean farming family and was raised in highland traditions and customs.
She always felt attracted by the myths and rituals practiced in this environment.Hanny received her anthropology degree from San Antonio Abad university of Cusco, with her thesis focusing on the causes and effects of the convertion of catholics to Evanlical Baptist in the community of Toccoccori, Canas Cusco province.Currently she is researching about religious phenomenon in the Andes .
Emerita Bucher, Sculptor and Artist
Emerita Bucher was born in Switzerland and graduated from schoolmaster, a second career specializes in stones sculpture. fascinated by pre – Inca cultures such as Paracas and Mochica Emerita creates sculptures, paintings and mosaics, inspiring a re – birth of this ancient cultures in a current Peruvian context. She founded the “renaissance” workshop in Cusco, and exhibits her work in Switzerland and Peru .
